When and Where We Meet The Monterey Bay Cypressaires Barbershop Chorus meets once a week on Tuesday evening at 7:15pm at the York School Music Room in the Lew Fenton Activities Building, 9501 York Road, Monterey, CA 93940-6530.  To get to York School from Monterey: Take the Monterey Salinas Highway (Highway 68) east towards Salinas, 2.6 miles past Monterey Peninsula Airport (Olmstead Road) to York Road. Turn LEFT at the York Road traffic light, and follow York Road as it climbs a hill ahead and curves around to the right. The York School driveway is on the right hand side, just after York Road curves right. To get to York School from Salinas: Take the Monterey-Salinas Highway (Highway 68) west towards Monterey, 3.1 miles past Laureles Grade Road (on the left) to York Road. Turn RIGHT at the York Road traffic light, and follow York Road as it climbs a hill ahead and curves around to the right. The York School driveway is on the right hand side, just after York Road curves right.  |
